Terms of service
Last updated: September 28, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and the operator of Deckly. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use Deckly.
1. Who provides the service
Deckly is operated by an individual residing in Mexico ("Deckly", "we" or "us"). You can reach us at soporte@decklyai.com.
2. The service
Deckly is a web app for creating presentations and landing pages with the help of artificial intelligence: an agent that researches and writes, an editor to refine the result, and tools to present, share by link and export.
The service changes over time: we may add, change or remove features. If we remove something you paid for, we will tell you reasonably in advance.
3. Your account
- You sign in with your Google account or with a link we email you. There is no password: whoever controls your email controls your account, so keep it safe.
- You must be at least 13 to create an account. If you are 13 to 17 (or a minor where you live), you need permission from a parent or legal guardian, and payments must be made by an adult.
- Your account is personal. You are responsible for what is done with it.
- The details you give us (name, company, language) must be accurate.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use Deckly to:
- Create, store or distribute content that is illegal, infringes other people's rights (copyright, trademark, image or privacy), promotes violence or hatred, or exploits minors.
- Deceive people: impersonate someone, commit fraud, phishing, or build pages that imitate another company.
- Generate spam or mass automated content, or abuse the AI: try to extract the model's internal instructions, get around usage or credit limits, or resell access.
- Scrape the service or extract data from it with automated tools, or probe, attack or overload its infrastructure.
- Upload viruses or malicious code, or use Deckly to attack others.
If we find such use we may remove the content, limit features or suspend the account (see section 10).
5. Your content
What you upload, write and generate in Deckly (your decks, landing pages, text, images, files and instructions) is yours. We acquire no rights over it.
So the service can work, you give us a limited permission to store, process, copy and display that content, and to send it to the providers that process it (for example, the AI models that generate text and images). We use that permission only to operate and improve Deckly, and it ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies the law requires us to keep.
You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload and for checking the licenses of third-party images and fonts you use. Deckly shows photos from libraries such as Wikimedia Commons or Pexels under their own licenses; some require attribution.
When you share a deck by link, anyone who has the link can view it without an account. You can turn the link off or change it at any time.
6. AI output
Text, data, charts and images generated by AI may contain errors, invented or outdated facts, or resemble existing content. Review everything before you use or publish it. You decide what you use and you are responsible for it.
We do not guarantee that any output is accurate, unique or fit for a particular purpose, and it is not legal, financial, medical or any other professional advice.
7. Credits
AI actions (preparing an outline, generating or editing slides, and others) use credits. The cost of each action is shown before it starts and on the pricing page. Editing by hand, saving, presenting and exporting use no credits.
- Credits are not money: they have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, transferred to another account or sold.
- Welcome credits: once per person, when the account is created.
- Plus and Pro plan credits: granted at the start of each paid month, also on yearly billing (a paid year brings its credits month by month, not all at once). Unused ones carry over to the next month while the plan stays paid without interruption, up to each plan's cap shown on the pricing page. If the subscription ends, plan credits can no longer be used once the last paid month is over.
- Credits bought in a top-up, welcome credits and invitation credits do not expire while your account exists, and you keep them if you cancel your plan.
- Invitation credits: granted by the invitation program described in your account, once per invited person and up to the monthly cap shown there. We do not grant them when we detect that the inviter and the invited person are the same person, or accounts or emails made to collect them.
- If an AI action fails or delivers nothing, the credits set aside for it return to your balance automatically. If it delivers only part of the work, only that part is charged.
We may change the credit cost of future actions; we will publish it on the pricing page. A change never takes away credits you already have.
8. Plus and Pro subscriptions and payments
- Prices are shown in Mexican pesos (MXN), VAT included, on the pricing page. Payments are processed by Stripe; Deckly never sees or stores your card details.
- The Plus and Pro subscriptions are charged in advance, every month or every year depending on the billing you choose, and renew automatically for the same period until you cancel them.
- You can cancel at any time from your account, in Stripe's billing portal. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep your plan until the end of the period you already paid for, a month or a year.
- You can move from Plus to Pro within the same billing period: only the difference for what is left of the current period is charged. For any other change of plan or billing period, cancel yours and subscribe to the new one once what you already paid for ends.
- A credit top-up is a one-time payment with no automatic charges.
- If we change a plan's price we will email you at least 15 days before it applies to your next renewal. If you do not agree, you can cancel before then.
- If a renewal charge fails, we will email you. If it is not resolved, the subscription ends.
Refunds are covered by the refund policy.
9. Privacy
How we handle your personal data is described in the privacy notice.
10. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Deckly whenever you want. To delete your account and your data, write to soporte@decklyai.com from your account's email address.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, puts the service or other people at risk, or when the law requires it. Where possible we will warn you first and give you a chance to download your content. If we close your account without you having breached these terms, we will refund the unused part of your plan's current period, monthly or yearly.
11. Availability
We work to keep Deckly available and your data safe, but the service is provided "as is" and may have interruptions, errors or data loss. We recommend exporting anything that matters to you.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, lost data or lost business opportunities arising from the use of the service or from AI output. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the event that gives rise to it.
Nothing here limits the rights you have under Mexico's Federal Consumer Protection Law or any other law that cannot be waived.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will publish the new version on this page with its date, and if the change is significant we will tell you by email or inside Deckly before it applies. If you keep using the service afterwards, you accept the new version.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. Any dispute will be resolved before the competent courts of Mexico, without prejudice to your right to go to Mexico's Federal Consumer Protection Agency (Profeco).
